Sides u1p

All sides are up on the greenhouse and it is really nice. Must put the thermometer in tomorrow and get the heater ready. It really warms up during the day and so far, the plants are liking it. Watering every 2-3 days. Must move the front porch plants to the greenhouse and plant winter hardy plants in the porch planter. Getting there I suppose. Always so much to do. But it will be great in the Spring to get out again. Gonna concentrate on plants that grow well and have fewer pests bothering them. Hope that is possible. Enjoying the nice weather now.

Finishing Up

Andy and I put up the final wall on the greenhouse today. We saved the South side till last. It is getting into the 40's at night so it is time to get this completed. Just a few more things to do. Started a journal on Folia.com. Hope to meet some people there and learn a lot. Anyway, I have almost all of my plants tucked in for the Winter season. Just a few more on the porch to dig up and repot and we are good to go. Transplanted Coleus today. Hope they survive. Also put some Sweet Pea plants in the ground inside the greenhouse. Fingers crossed they survive. Will see!!! Must get a heater. All for now.

Finally Posting!

My daughter made this sight for me a long time ago. Over a year ago. This is the first time I have decided to write. Gardening has always been a joy for me. I get out in my garden and relax no matter how hard I work. I love being outside and digging in the dirt. Too long have I put off working and documenting my passion. So today is the first day to document.....

We are putting the finishing touches on our greenhouse. I say our, meaning my husband and myself. He builds and I plant. We will see how this greenhouse venture turns out. It is mid Oct and all of the plants are in. Now to put up the South wall. I will get some pictures to post. Hope to enjoy being out there this winter. Arizona provides lots of sun and warmth but it does get cold in the winter for some of the more tropical plants. Will have to document this venture.

Here's to a great Fall and Winter......
